Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sports Coach Live iOS application (the “App”) operated by Between Points AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you're between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You sign in to Sports Coach Live using Apple Sign-In. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for all activity that occurs under your account. Don't share your account credentials with anyone else.

3. Subscriptions, credit packs, and payments

3.1 Free trial

New users may receive a 7-day free trial of the Pro subscription. The trial begins when you start the trial in the App. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the first month of Pro. Cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

3.2 Subscriptions

We offer two subscription tiers:

Subscriptions are auto-renewing monthly. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage and cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Pricing may change. We'll notify you in advance of any price increase and you'll have the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.

3.3 Credit packs

When you reach your monthly subscription limits, you can purchase consumable credit packs:

Credit packs do notexpire. They roll over month to month. They are non-refundable except as required by law or Apple's refund policy.

3.4 Payment

All purchases are made through Apple's App Store. We don't see or store your payment method. By purchasing, you agree to Apple's Media Services Terms in addition to these Terms.

3.5 Refunds

For App Store purchases, refunds are issued by Apple at Apple's discretion. Request refunds through Apple's report-a-problem page. We don't issue refunds directly.

3.6 Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period; after that, your account drops to the Free tier. Credit packs you purchased remain available.

4. License to use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any video, audio, or text you upload through the App (“Your Content”). By uploading, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  1. Store Your Content on our servers and our service providers' servers as long as needed to operate the App.
  2. Transmit Your Content to the AI coaching backend (Google Gemini API) so it can be analyzed.
  3. Generate and deliver coaching responses derived from Your Content back to you.

This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where we're legally required to retain a copy.

You represent that:

If Your Content includes other people (e.g., your doubles partner on video), you represent that you have their consent to record and share that footage with our service.

6. AI coaching disclaimer

Sports Coach Live uses AI models to analyze your gameplay and provide coaching feedback. The AI coach is not a substitute for a certified human coach or for medical advice. Its responses can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. You use AI coaching at your own discretion.

We don't guarantee:

Stop playing immediately and consult a medical professional if you feel pain, dizziness, or other physical symptoms. Don't rely on AI coaching during a health-related event.

7. Service availability and changes

We work hard to keep the App available 24/7 but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the App for maintenance, upgrades, or to fix issues. We may also add, remove, or change features at any time. For material changes that affect your active subscription, we'll give you reasonable advance notice.

8. Account termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time by emailing us (see Section 13).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to defraud us or Apple, or use the App for unlawful purposes. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for 24 months.

If your account is terminated, any unused subscription time is non-refundableexcept where required by law. Pack credits you've purchased may also become inaccessible. If we terminate your account for a reason that isn't your fault (e.g., we shut the service down), we'll provide a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription.

9. Intellectual property

The App, including all source code, designs, text, graphics, and the “Sports Coach Live” name and logo, is owned by Between Points AI and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the App.

You may not use our trademarks without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
